Wilma Schexnayder

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma B. Schexnayder will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1;00PM at the First Pentecostal Church of Melville with the interment in the Pentecostal Church cemetery. The Rev. Ferdinand Schexnayder will conduct the services.

Mrs. Schexnayder, age 77, died at 3:59a.m. Friday, November 23, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by 3 sons; Chester Schexnayder Jr. and his wife Shirley of Pearland TX., Jerry Schexnayder and his wife Gail of Walker, La and Terry Schexnayder and his wife Cynthia of Bunkie, 3 daughters; Carol Schexnayder Allen and her husband Reverend Ollie of Erwinville, La., Rose Schexnayder Ray and her husband Daniel of Krotz Springs, La and Marlene Schexnayder Dentro and her husband Anthony of Denham Springs, La., a brother; Joseph Barker Jr. of Walker, La and 3 sisters; Irma Schexnayder of Krotz Springs La, Amie Arabie of Rayne, La and Yvonne Lanier of Denham Springs La. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schexnayder was preceded in death by her husband; Chester Schexnayder Sr. her father; Seymore Joseph Barker, her mother; Hazel Plaisance Barker and her great-granddaughter; Alexis Lynn Stelly.

Visitation will be on Sunday at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs from 11:00AM to 10:00PM and will continue on Monday from 9;00AM until time of service.
