Willie Schexnayder

Funeral services for Willie Lee Bea Schexnayder will be held on Friday August 31, 2012 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. The interment will take place at the church cemetery. Bro. Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mr. Schexnayder, age 76, a resident of Krotz Springs, died Sunday August 26, 2012 at 2:18pm at his residence. He was retired from the oil industry as a roughneck. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Disotell Schexnayder of Krotz Springs, sons Donald Lee Schexnayder and wife Margie of Krotz Springs, Davy Chris Schexnayder, Sr. and wife Michelle of Krotz Springs, daughters, Nina Elizabeth Guidry of Baton Rouge, Abronah Desire McGuire and husband Mike of Colmesneil, TX, brother, Ferdinand Schexnayder and wife Judy of Raymond, MS, sisters, Melba Leger and husband Viely of Palmetto, Vera Yates of Krotz Springs, also 10 grandchildren, Jason Schexnayder, Nicholas Schexnayder, Alexandra Schexnayder, Natasha Schexnayder, Davy Chris Schexnayder, Jr., Casey Sellers, Sarah Ducote, Analece Leger, Timothy Leger and William Leger and 13 great grandchildren, Austin Schexnayder, Ross Schexnayder, Abigail Schexnayder, Ty Cooper Schexnayder, Elizabeth Schexnayder, Aaron Hatten, Fenix Duncan, Paige Charles, Bailey Ducote, Cami Ducote, Khalil Sellers, Aleah Sellers and Preston Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moise and Lucille Schexnayder, brothers, Moise Schexnayder, Jr., Chester Schexnayder, Sr., Huey Schexnayder, sisters, Natalie Duvall, Nita Billodeaux and granddaughters, Dana Chloe Schexnayder and Meghan Ann Schexnayder.

The family has requested visitation be held on Thursday August 30, 2012, beginning at 9:00am until 10:00pm and will reopen at 8:00am on Friday until time of services.
