Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial for Willie Mae Mo Mo Doucet, age 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011, in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas, La. followed by interment in the LeJeune Family Cemetery in Lawtell, La. The Reverend Paul Bienvenu will conduct the service.

Mrs. Doucet a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Senior Village Nursing Home.

Willie Mae was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary member of the PTA and was an active officer She was affectionately known as Mo Mo Willie by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph Nolan Gautreaux and wife, Mary Ellen, of Opelousas, La. Merrick Gautreaux, Jr. and wife, Sheryl, of Opelousas, La. Johnny Ray Gautreaux and Cathy Trexler, of Opelousas, La. David Paul Gautreaux and wife, Carol, of Branch, La. her daughters, Mary Alice Lavergne of Opelousas, La. Loretta Ducharme and husband, Douglas, of Opelousas, La. and Faye Soileau and husband, Glenn of Branch, La. She is also survived by 67 grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of seven children, Merrick Gautreaux, Sr. her second husband, J.C. Doucet her parents, Alfred and Celeste Frutell Bihm her brother, Marrion Bihm and her sister, Vercy Lee Richard. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Lance Joubert and her greatgrandchild, Silas Gautreaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Nolan Gautreaux, Merrick Gautreaux, Johnny Ray Gautreaux, David Paul Gautreaux, Josh Gautreaux and Eric Gautreaux.
