Wilbur Vidrine

Houma - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Wilbur "Will" Vidrine, age 50, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA. Reverend Rholando Grecia will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will take place at the Holy Rosary Church Mausoleum.

Will, a resident of resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his residence.

Will enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Pershing Vidrine, Jr. and wife, Carol, of Gilchrist, TX; his sisters, Gretchen Hargis and husband, Alvin, of Houma, LA and Shirley Stinson of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pershing Joseph Vidrine, Sr. and Elise Marks Vidrine and his brother, Marks Wayne Vidrine.

Visitation will be held at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
