Webster Reed, Jr.

Krotz Springs- Funeral services for Webster Lynn Reed, Jr., age 30, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on January 9, 2008, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Mark LeDoux will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial.

Webster, who was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Krotz Springs,

died on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at his residence.

Webster was a carpenter by trade and a volunteer fireman for the Town of Krotz Springs. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and cooking with family and friends.

Survivors include his father, Webster Lynn Reed, Sr. and step-mother, Ruth Burns Reed of Krotz Springs; his mother, Paula Terrell Reed of Houston, TX; brother, Bryan Michael Reed of Krotz Springs; two stepbrother, Todd A. Voiselle and wife Paulette of Simmesport and Johnny Voiselle and wife Tiffany of Plaucheville; maternal grandparents, Dave and Pricillia Terrell of Melville; sister-in-law, Desi B. Reed and godchild Riley John Reed both of Port Barre. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, SSG Jonathan Ray Reed; paternal grandparents, Ervin Webster Reed and Linda K. Soileau and his step grandfather, Ray Soileau.

Visiting will be held at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will re-open at 8:00a.m. on Wednesday until service time. A rosary service will be held at 6:30p.m. on Tuesday.
