Wanda Greenwood

Opelousas - Funeral services for Wanda Joubert Greenwood, age 74, will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Landry Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Msgr. Paul Metrejean will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Wanda Greenwood, a native of Plaisance and resident of Opelousas, died at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Acadia St. Landry Nursing Home.

Mrs. Greenwood loved playing bingo, going to festivals and most of all loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Greenwood is survived by her son, Keith Ryan Perrodin of Opelousas; her step-sons, Vernon Greenwood and James Greenwood of Baytown, Texas; her step-daughters, Cynthia Sonnier of Opelousas, Louisiana and Sylvia Tucker of Baytown, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Greenwood was preceded in death by her first husband, Terrel Perrodin; her second husband, E.T. Greenwood; her brother, Eugene Joubert; her sister, Myrtle Jane Pefferkorn and her parents, Paul and Olivia Lafleur Joubert.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will re-open on Thursday, April 10, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
