Melville - Funeral services will be held for Walter "Bubby" Ryder, Jr. at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville, LA.
Brother Herbert Bradford will conduct the service. Interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Ryder, age 60, a resident of Melville, LA, died on July 13, 2015 in Lafayette, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Tamitha Ryder; his son, Joey Ryder; his daughters, Dody Ryder, Dora "Shantel" Vidrine, Tyra Taylor, Nichol Kilcrease, Ashley Kilcrease; his brother, Jason Ryder; his sisters, Sandra Badeaux, Jackie Ryder; Jessica Landry and her husband, Carl Landry and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Fay Ryder, Maxine Rogers and his brothers, Donny Ryder and Kevin Kilcrease.
