Funeral services for Mr. Walter M. Kimble Chinner will be held on Thursday, July 12th, 2007 at 11AM at St, Johns Catholic Church in Melville with the entombment at St. Johns Mausoleum. The Rev. Fr. James Nguyen will conduct the services.
Mr. Kimble, age 82, died at his residence in Melville on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 5:30PM. He served in the Marines, Bailey Hunting Club, and retired member of Local Union 406 of Baton Rouge, La.
He is survived by his wife Annie Kimble, married for 63 years of Melville, his sons; Jerry and his wife Diane Kimble of Liverpool TX, Ronnie and his wife Brenda Kimble of Port Barre, Darrel and his wife Paula Kimble of Krotz Springs, Walter Ray and his wife Ruth Kimble of Navarre FL, and Donald Joseph Kimble and his wife Yvette Kimble of Butte Larose., his daughters; Patsy Kimble of Melville, Sally Hooks and her husband Neil Hooks of Krotz Springs and Rose Disotell and her husband Wendell Disotell also of Krotz Springs. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his parents; Walter and Mary Smith Kimble, a brother Tommy Kimble, sisters and Catherine Alphonse.
The family has requested that visitation be observed at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville, on Wednesday, July 11th from 11:00AM to 10:00PM and will continue on Thursday from 8;00AM until time of service
