Vivian Mary Aymond, 85, was called to her eternal resting place on December 13, 2023, surrounded by her children, at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. She entered this world on April 10, 1938 in Leonville, LA, born to Clemille and Leticia Aymond.

She is survived by her son, Bernie Mayer and wife, Maureen Mayer of Grand Prairie, LA; her daughter, Tanya Marie Johnson and husband, Clint Johnson of Kingwood, TX; her grandchildren and their spouses: Rebecca Fontenot and husband, Ross Fontenot; Amanda Deville and husband, Luke Deville; Isaac Mayer and wife, Kaitlin Mayer; and granddaughter Ava Anne-Marie Johnson; her great- grandchildren include: Zachary Fontenot, Kain Fontenot, Levi Deville, Lane Deville, Lawson Deville, Andre Mayer, and Violet Mayer; and her great-great- granddaughter, Everlee Fontenot.

She was preceded in death by her son, Don Edward Mayer of Houston, TX.
