Virginia Hetherwick

Funeral services will be held for Virginia Hetherwick at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Melville, LA. Burial will follow in the Baptist Cemetery in Melville. The Reverend Billy Wayne Ivy will conduct the service.

Mrs. Hetherwick, age 65, a resident of Lakeland, LA, died at her residence on Monday, June 3, 2013.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her godson, John James Fruge of Baton Rouge, LA her sisters, Mary Ivy of Piggott, Arkansas Rita Lavergne of Metairie, LA Margie Fruge of Lakeland, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harris Fruge and Josephine Phillips Fruge her son, Derek Joseph Viola her brother, Mac Savant and her sister, Christine Fruge Sanders.

Visiting hours will begin on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
