Virgie Wyble

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Virgie Fontenot Wyble at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in the St. Anthony Catholic Church, 529 Senneville St, Krotz Springs, La, 70750. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Chanh Van Nguyen will celebrate the Mass.

Virgie F. Wyble, age 84, who was a native of Ville Platte, LA and a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Carpenter House Hospice Unit in Baton Rouge, LA.

Mrs. Wyble was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and sewing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Donald Cole and wife Connie of Prairie Ronde, LA daughters, Mary Joyce Criswell and husband Richard of Krotz Springs, LA, Neva Morien of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia Ann Ford of Krotz Springs, LA, and Carolyn Wyble Savario and husband George of Prairieville, LA a sister, Gussie Thibodeaux of Krotz Springs, LA 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gene Wyble her adoptive parents, Meance and Artena Fontenot, her biological parents, Armand and Martha Veillon son, Patrick Cole daughter, Versie Cole Fontenot brothers, Armas Veillon, Herbert Veillon and Gilbert Perron sisters, Neva Veillon, Rose Veillon Flanagan, and Theresa Fontenot Cole granddaughter, Donna Ardoin.

Visitation will be held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
