Opelousas - Funeral services will be held for Versie Bellow Miller at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Deacon Bill Pollingue will conduct the service. Burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller, age 91, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Senior Village Nursing Home.

Versie was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and cooking for her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Donald Miller and wife, Robin, of Houston, TX; her daughters, Linda Arnaud of Carencro, LA; Dot Carnahan and husband, Jimmy, of Lake Charles, LA; her brothers, Tom Bellow and wife, Georgiana, of Grand Prairie, LA and Jerome "Junior" Bellow, Jr. of Mississippi. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Miller and her parents, Jerome and Eva Lejeune Bellow.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
