Vernon Ledoux, Sr.

Melville - Funeral services will be held for Vernon Ledoux, Sr., age 80, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in the First Pentecostal Church in Melville, LA. Burial will follow at the First Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Melville, LA. Reverend Charles Polotzola and Reverend Christian Courville will conduct the funeral service.

Mr. Ledoux, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, formerly of Melville, LA, died on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at his residence. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Vernon enjoyed playing his guitar. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Ledoux, of Baton Rouge, LA; his sons, Keith Douglas Ledoux of Baton Rouge, LA; Vernon Ledoux, Jr. and wife, Cherie, of Denham Springs, LA; his daughters, Violet L. Musson and husband, Paul A. Musson, Sr., of Zachary, LA; Panda Faye Ledoux-Wieweck of Lake Dallas, TX; Mandi Robertson and husband, Jeffrey Robertson, of Gore Springs, MS; his brothers, Daniel Boudreaux, Gilbert Boudreaux and his sisters, Ezen Landerno, Vernice Deville and Geraldine Spinner. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ledoux and Emelaide Schexnayder Ledoux; his brothers, Louis Boudreaux, Geneus "Blue" Boudreaux, Houston Boudreaux, Austin Boudreaux, Simon Boudreaux, Wallace Boudreaux, Wesley Ledoux and his sisters, Stella Londerno, Lilian Boudreaux and Louisiana Boudreaux.

Visitation will be held at the First Pentecostal Church Hall in Melville, LA on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the church hall will reopen on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
