Verlie Savoy

Funeral services for Verlie Boudreaux Savoy will be held Monday December 1, 2008 at 2:30pm in the St. Landry Catholic Church. The interment will take place at the Old Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point. Monsignor Robert Romero will conduct the services.

Mrs. Savoy, age 81 a resident of Opelousas died Friday November 28, 2008 at Opelousas General Health System following a short illness. She was a loving mother, a special friend to all that knew her. She was also a retired nurse.

Survivors include her 3 sons; Allen Savoy, James Jim Savoy and Larry Savoy all of Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Steven Savoy and her parents; Antoine and Louise Bernard Boudreaux.

Visitation will be Sunday November 30, 2008 from 1:00pm until 10:00pm and on Monday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00pm.
