VENITA S. MONAGHAN

Funeral services for Venita S. Monaghan will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 26,2008. Rev. Albert Nunez will conduct the services. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Monaghan, age 93, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Prompt Succor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Monaghan is survived by a son; John Howard Monaghan Jr. and his wife Anna of Houston TX, a brother; Joe Soileau of Slidell, La., sisters; Carrie Eastman of Beaumont, TX, Amelia Carrier of Port Barre, La and Ruby Deshotel of Whiteville, La She is also survived by one grandson; Ron Monaghan of Vernon Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her husband; John HowardMonaghan and a grandson; Michael Monaghan.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 25, 2008 at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, from 5pm to 9pm and will continue on Saturday from 8am until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm on Friday.
