Thomas Kibbe

A memorial service will be held for Thomas "Tom" Kibbe, age 64, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Reverend Benny Reppond will conduct the services.

Mr. Kibbe, a resident of Carencro, LA, died on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Opelousas General Health System surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Kibbe served his country proudly during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Navy for 8 years. He dedicated his time to reading and studying the Bible.
He enjoyed shooting his firearms and riding around in his Mini Cooper. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Kibbe; his daughter, Kimberly Newberry and husband, Jesse; his brother, Richard Kibbe and his grandson, Jackson Thomas Newberry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Keith Kibbe and Betty Tallant Kibbe and his brother, Harry Kibbe.
