Theresa Comeaux

Funeral services will be held for Theresa Devillier Comeaux, age 46, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Parlor in Opelousas. Burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Sam Hamm will conduct the service.

Mrs. Comeaux, of Opelousas, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her residence.

Theresa was a very loving and caring person. She took enormous pride in her family and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her granddaughter, Kylie. She was very creative and enjoyed photography and craft projects. Theresa enjoyed hosting dinners and entertaining her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Bill James Comeaux; her parents, Mitch and Tina Devillier; her son, Dakota Mitchell Comeaux; her daughter, Angelique Selise Devillier; her brother, Steven James Devillier and wife, Nicole all of Opelousas, LA; her sister, Melette Anne Devillier of Pope, MS and her paternal grandmother, Martha Bell Devillier of Krotz Springs, LA. She is also survived by her godmother, Betty Frame Barker; her granddaughter, Kylie Alexis Stelly; her nieces, Brandy Bright and husband Drew, Bailey Devillier, Tina Devillier and her great-nephew Myles Bright.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Simpson and Annie Frame; her paternal grandfather, Dewey Devillier; her brother-in-law, Jerrod Wade Moreau and her granddaughter, Addyson Claire Stelly.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Bill Comeaux, Dakota Comeaux, Troy Moreau, Daniel Moreau, Steven Devillier, Rusty Quirk, Glenn Craig, III and Dillon Landerno.
