Thelma Dicapo

Melville A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Thelma Marie Dicapo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013, in the St. John Catholic Church in Melville, La. Reverend James Ngueyn will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will be held in the St. John Catholic Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Dicapo, age 87, a resident of Opelousas and former resident of Melville, La., died on November 21, 2013, at her residence.

Thelma will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her sons, Nick Dicapo of Zachary, La. Dennis Dicapo of Denham Springs, La. her daughters, Susan Dicapo of Opelousas, La. Joslyn Rickey Viola of Zachary, La. nine grandchildren and fifteen greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick H. Dicapo three brothers, one sister, two daughtersinlaw, Barbara Dicapo and Wanda Dicapo and several other family members.

Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
