Thaddeus Manuel

Opelousas - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 for Thaddeus "Teddy" Manuel at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Father Gregory Simien will officiate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Teddy Manuel, age 57 and a resident of Longview, TX, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017.

Teddy volunteered his time at The Salvation Army. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. Teddy also loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Thelma Labbe Manuel; his companion, Allie Keoun; his aunts, Lou Cannon, Martha Dean and Ann Bertrand and her husband, Randal; and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Joe Manuel; and his brother, Tommy Manuel.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. It will continue on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. - until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed on Monday Evening at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Sammy Diesi.

Pallbearers will be Jay Dean, Tommy Diesi, Danny Joe Richard, Todd Darbonne, Raoul Zapata and Russell Dupuis.
