Rosedale Visiting and funeral services for Tammy Stermer Collins, age 45, will begin at noon on Thurday, August 15, 2013, until service time at 3:00 p.m., in the Crossfire Tabernacle in Rosedale, LA 76580 Rosedale Rd, Rosedale, LA, 70772. Pastor Troy Romig will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs Cemetery.
Tammy Stermer Collins, who was a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died at 1:13 p.m., on Wednesday, August 13, 2013 at the Opelousas General Health System.
Tammy will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Vera Lee Schexnayder Vining of Krotz Springs son, John Wes Collins of Krotz Springs daughters, Raychel Collins of Krotz Springs and Jennifer Fountain of Addis, LA her fiance, James McNair of Bayou Sorrel brother, Henry Alvin Stermer and wife, Angela of Krotz Springs sisters, Linda Stermer Fitzgerald and her husband Gerald Lee and Adrienne Faith Stermer, all of Krotz Springs six step grandchildren and her Godchild, Meah Jagneaux of Krotz Springs.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Franklin Stermer, Sr. her brother, Benjamin Franklin Stermer, Jr. and her sister, Zelma Lucille Wiltz.
