Tamitha "Tammy" Ryder

Funeral services will be held for Tamitha Jean Ryder at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2020 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Melville.  Burial will be held in the Melville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Melville on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  Reverend Samuel Ham will conduct the service.

Ms. Ryder, age 53, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.

Tamitha adored her grandchildren and her family was her life.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Nichole Kilcrease, and Ashley Kilcrease (Cole Ponthieux); her brothers, Keith Rodriguez and wife, Dajuana, and Kirt Rodriguez and wife, Romona; and her sister, Cindy Williams and husband, Jerry.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, David Lane Kilcrease, Evan Ponthieux and Brayden Ponthieux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Kilcrease; and her parents, Arthur (Joe) Rodriguez and Margaret Moreau Rodriguez.

Pallbearers will be Cole Ponthieux, Evan Ponthieux, Jerry Williams, David Lane Kilcrease, Keith Rodriguez, Kirt Rodriguez and honorary pallbearers will be Larry Ponthieux and Brayden Ponthieux. Honorary pallbearer will be Fred Montgomery.
