Simon Fusilier

A Gathering of Remembrance for Simon Fusilier, age 42, will begin on Friday, September 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. until a 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service, which will be conducted by Deacon Sammy Diesi. Visiting will continue after the Memorial Service until 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Fusilier died on Sunday, Sept 1, 2013 at 1:56 p.m. at the Opelousas General Health System after battling cancer.

Simon was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his wife, children and his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Angel M. Fusilier of Opelousas his father, James Fusilier of Opelousas, LA maternal grandmother, Larry Mae Fontenot son, Jacob Fusilier of Leonville, LA daughter, Isabella Fusilier of Opelousas, LA brothers, Shaun Fusilier of New Orleans, LA, Justin Fusilier of Chicago, Illinois, and Jordan Fusilier of Port Barre, LA.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cinda Fontenot Fusilier maternal grandfather, Ronald Clayton Fontenot, and his paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Vidrine.
