Sherry Jones

Memorial Services for Sherry McRae Jones will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs. Bro. Rocky Warden will officiate the services.

Sherry, age 45, was a resident of Leonville. She passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at her home. She enjoyed reading, watching Sci-Fi television shows, and collecting bugs and rocks. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived her husband of 11 years, Brett Allen Jones of Port Barre; son, Ronan Wolff Jones both of Leonville; stepson, Michael Jones of Eunice; parents, William McRae and wife, Jan of Kosse, TX; and Martha Williams and husband, Kim of Bulverde, TX; brother, Jared McRae of Bulverde, TX; sisters, Trisha McRae of Krotz Springs; Sarah McRae of Waco, TX; Brandie LaPoint and husband, Lance of Krotz Springs; and Johnnie Soileau and husband, Shawn of Meraux; grandmother, Bera Ardoin of Krotz Springs; mother-in-law, Sandra Faye Jones and companion, James LaHaye of Port Barre; and eight nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William C. McRae, Jr., Louise Burk, John O. "Boyer" Ardoin, and Norman and Florence Renken; and her father-in-law, Ronald Wayne Jones.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.
