Krotz Springs - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheree Nicole Templeton, age 45, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, in Fordoche, LA.

Funeral services for Sheree Nicole Templeton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Krotz Springs United Methodist Church in Krotz Springs.  Pastor Laurie Raborn will conduct the service.  Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs.

Sheree attended church regularly at the Krotz Springs Methodist Church.  She loved spending time outdoors, riding 4-wheelers, fishing, boiling crawfish and listening to music.  She was a marketing director for Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners for many years.  Most of all, Sheree enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her father, John Templeton, Sr., of Fordoche; her sisters, Chantelle Templeton of Grand Prairie; and Nevaeh Templeton of Fordoche;  and special family members, Maygun Richard of Krotz Springs who was like a daughter to Sheree; Lacey Posey of Lafayette who was raised with Sheree like a sister; her Godfather, Herman Templeton, Jr., of Fordoche; her Godmother, Sheila Ann Crouch of Montpelier; and her Godchild and niece, Shania Templeton of Lafayette.  Sheree is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Briggs; her brother, John "J.J." Wyatt Templeton, Jr.; and her maternal grandparents, Ila Mae Ardoin and Joseph "Toto" Ardoin; and her paternal grandparents, Elaine and Herman Templeton, Sr.
