Seslie Barker

Krotz Springs Services for Seslie Kay Barker, age 42, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs with Reverend Chad Bolfa. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville, La.

Seslie, a resident of Arnaudville, La., died on Monday, October 1, 2012, at 4:40 a.m. at her residence.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her life partner, Renee Fisette, of Arnaudville, La. her parents, Boyd and Kitty Barker, of Krotz Springs, La. her son, Travis Cox, of Arnaudville, La. her brother, Chad Barker and partner, Lucas Lachance, of Dallas, Texas and her sister, Sheree Barker Sanders and husband, Mitchell, of Krotz Springs, La. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Leslie H. Barker and Claude Kartchner her grandmothers, Carmella Barker, Evelyn Vige and Olita Kartchner and her Aunt Willa Faye Comb and Aunt Lowana Marioneaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, La., beginning on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Derek Cox, Austin Cox, T.J. Roussel, Shawn Ellis, Brad Polotzola, Karl Crow and honorary pallbearers will be Travis Cox, Cole Sanders, Ashton Lagrange and D.J. Cox.
