Opelousas Funeral services for Sandra Roy Smith, age 68, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Parlor. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend James Brady.

Mrs. Smith, a resident of Bush, La., died on Monday, October 29, 2012, at her residence.

Sandra will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Todd C. Smith her daughtersinlaw, Elizabeth Smith of Kenner, La. Patricia Smith of Bush, La. Nora Bordelee of Harvey, La. and her best friend, Sylvia Childress. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Anthony J. Smith, Jr., Kenny Smith, Dennis Smith, Dalton Smith, Dylan Smith Katie Smith, Georgia Roppolo, Brea Smith, Brian Smith, Jr., Sydnei Smith, Todd Smith, Jr., Ryan Savoie and 9 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Smith her parents, John Dennis Roy and Ona Ducote her sons, Anthony Joseph Smith, Randall James Smith, Brian Keith Smith her brothers, Earl Roy, Leo Roy, Merle Roy, John Dennis Roy, Jr., Harold Roy, Mervin Roy, Melvin Roy and her sisters, Esther Lee Billeaudeau, Shirley May Roy and Gertrude Roy.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time at 1:30 p.m.
