Krotz Springs Funeral services for Sandra Kay Mason, age 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Mason, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Floyd E. Mason, Sr. her sons, Floyd Oscar Mason, Jr. and wife, Terry Tony PoohBoy Mason and wife, Tiffany and her daughter, Connie Kay Mason all of Krotz Springs, La. She is also survived by two brothers, Bennie Cureington of Monroe, La. Tollie Cureington of Jena, La. her three sisters, Beatrice Thompson of Lottie, La. Sue Rawls of Crowville, La. Jewel Trent of Clayton, La. her six grandchildren, Dana Vidrine, Georgie Disotell, Floyd Trey Mason, III, Lori Disotell, Kimberly and Meghan Mason and fourteen greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Leona Cureington her son, James Hanky Mason her grandson, James Fat Boy Ellis her brothers, Mack and Tony Cureington and her sister, Brazie Blowe.

Visitation will be held in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at 10:00 a.m.
