Sabatina Vidrine

Opelousas - Funeral Services will be held for Sabatina "Tina" Annicone Vidrine, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at noon in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed prior to the service. Reverend Gregory Simien will conduct the service. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Mausoleum.

Mrs. Vidrine, age 91, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas for many years. She was a passionate volunteer with The Red Cross for close to ten years. Mrs. Vidrine enjoyed being a homemaker and working as a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Gils T.V. Service in Opelousas. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Marshall Vidrine and wife, Paula of Lafayette; her daughter, Hazel Vest and husband, Larry of Fairfield, IL; her brother, Edward Annicone of Providence Rhode Island; her sister, Vera Annicone Treglia of East Providence Rhode Island. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gil Vidrine; her parents, James and Veneretta Annicone; her brothers, James E. Annicone and Anthony "Tony" Annicone; her sister and twin, Frances Annicone Jensen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Montgomery and Louisiana Hospice and Pallative Care. They would also like to thank Heritage Manor CNA's Ms. Pearl, Jasmine Johnson and Nurse Reggie.
