Ryan Reed

Krotz Springs - Visitation for Ryan Andrew Reed will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 8:00 AM until service time at 7:30 p.m.in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Brother Chad Bolfa will officiate the services. Ryan loved fishing and duck and deer hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ryan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his father, Richard Birtz Reed (Tara); mother, Jaime Johnson (John Tillman); and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Reva Reed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dolores S. Johnson and Grover "Spud" Johnson; cousin, Landon Reed; and uncle, John Knox Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Taylor Veillon, Michael Santoro, Trent Fontenot, Seth Fontenot, Ryan Roza, Terry Johnson and Lenny Viola. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the LaSalle Parish Sheriff Department, Grant Parish Sheriff Department, Deville Volunteer Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance, Pineville Fire Department and Rapides Parish Fire District 2 for all of their assistance. The family requests that donations be made in Ryan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
