Rosemary Stanford

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary Rody Finn Stanford will be held on Friday September 24, 2010 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery. Fr. Austin Leger will celebrate the Mass.

Mrs. Stanford, age 65, a resident of Lawtell formerly of Bedford, TX. and New Orleans died Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Opelousas General Health Systems. She was an accountant, a volunteer at Senior Center and volunteered at HEB Hospital in Bedford, TX.

Survivors include son Gary P. Stanford and wife Audrey of Lucedale, MS., daughter Rebecca Becky Stanford Lavergne and Dennis Lavergne, Sr. of Lawtell, brothers Thomas S. Finn, Jr. and wife Debbie of West Lake, Edward Finn, Sr. and wife Alexis of Fort Worth, TX. and Michael J. Finn of Bedford, TX., sister Kathy Cobos and husband Marc of Bedford, TX., grandchildren Elizabeth Silver, Sterling J. Silver, Jr., Andrew J. Silver, Shelby Stanford and Ryan Stanford and also by one great grandchild Sarah Jackson

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas S. Finn Sr. and Rosemary P. Finn and her grandson Travis J. Lavergne.

Visitation will be held on Thursday September 23, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and reopen on Friday at 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
