Rose Wyble

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie Wyble will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be held in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Rose Marie Wyble, age 73, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Thursday, August 7, 2015 at her daughters' home in Opelousas surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Mrs. Wyble loved working in her yard and gardening whenever she could. She enjoyed going to mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels. She had special love for the neighborhood cats and enjoyed spoiling them! She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her husband Percy Wyble of Opelousas, LA; her sons, Paul Wyble of Houston, TX, Craig Wyble of Opelousas, LA and Greg Wyble of Opelousas, LA; her daughter, Mary Catherine "Cathy" Vidrine of Opelousas, LA; her brother, Robert Speyrer of Leonville, LA; her sisters, Marie Hebert of Port Barre, LA, Grace Smith of Krotz Springs, LA and Theresa Israel of Prairie Ronde. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, John Mcgee Sr., Christina Richardson, Jessica and Maegan Corona, Corey and Scott Vidrine, Heather, Chelsea, Ryan and Judy Wyble, Monica and Brandon, as well as 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Ida Speyer; her daughter, Angela Corona; her brothers, Ray and Donald Speyer; her sister, Mary Singleton; her god-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bosco Wyble and her great-grandson Beaux McGee.

The family request visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
