Ronald Zerangue

Opelousas Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. for Ronald Ronnie Zerangue, age 63, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, April 17, 2010, followed by interment in the Cedar Hill cemetery in Washington, LA. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the services.

Mr. Zerangue, who was a native of Opelousas and resident of Lafayette, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.

Ronnie and Marilyn were the owners and operators of Coastal Oil and Rental Tools for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Marilyn Dupre Zerangue, of Lafayette his father, Clem J. Zerangue, Sr. of Port Barre his daughters, Dawn Goode and husband, Derek, of Houston, Texas Dana Williams of Lafayette, La. his grandchildren, Kayleigh Simone Goode, Tanner Philip Goode, Amanda Marie Williams, Quinn Thomas Good and Ethan Michael Goode
his sisters, Betty Briley and husband, Wilbur Priscilla Devalcourt and husband, Gary his brother, Clem J. Zerangue, Jr. and wife, Linda his motherinlaw, Amy Veillon his brothersinlaw, L.T. Butch Dupre and wife, Carolyn Eugene Dupre and wife, Linda Karl Dupre and wife, Kathe Philip Dupre and wife, Donna and Thomas Coleman his sistersinlaw, Rita Dupre Pate and Donna Phillips and husband, Don. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Angelle Zerangue his sister, Ginger Marie Lajack his fatherinlaw, Clifton Veillon and his sisterinlaw, Catherine Dupre Coleman.

Visitation will be held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
