Opelousas Funeral services for Romaine Vizinat Miller will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA with Reverend James Brady.

Romaine, age 71, a resident of Opelousas, LA died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Miller gave of herself as an Opelousas General Health System volunteer for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Miller, of Opelousas, LA her sons, Terrance Miller of Opelousas, LA Ryan Miller of Opelousas, LA her sisters, Anna Belle Manuel of Mamou, LA and Ida Ledoux of Abita Springs, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Lilly Fontenot Vizinat and her sisters, Elva Vizinat and Winnie Ardoin.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Friday, January 11, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
