Robert Bazar, Jr.

Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Robert "Rob" Bazar, Jr., age 45, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs. Reverend Jason Vidrine will conduct the service. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.

Mr. Bazar, a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Lafayette General Southwest.

Rob loved to ride his motorcycle and work on small engines. He truly loved the rev of engines. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Elsie Dupre Bazar; his brothers, Juan Bazar and wife, Melissa Triplette Bazar; Joseph "Duffy" Bazar; his sister, Jamie Bazar Nassif and husband, Michael Nassif, Jr.; his nieces, Adeline and Clarissa Nassif; his nephews, Chance Bazar, Lane Bazar and his Godparents, Jessie and Sayble Arnaud.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Linda Lacosta Bazar and his maternal grandparents, Abey and Thelma Jones Dupre.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
