Rita Lanclos

Leonville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rita Delafosse Lanclos, age 80, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, La. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Leo Church Mausoleum with the Very Reverend Curtis Mallet as the celebrant.

Mrs. Lanclos, a resident of Pecaniere, La., died on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Gene Lanclos, Sr. and wife, Sandra Bonin Lanclos, of Arnaudville, La. Lloyd Phillip Lanclos of Sunset, La. and Dwayne Keith Lanclos and wife, Marji Artkop Lanclos of Euless, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Cori Lyn Lanclos, Larry Gene Lanclos, Jr. and wife, Courtney Simon Cam Lanclos and two greatgrandchildren, Avery Lynn Lanclos and Gracey Marie Lanclos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Whitby Lanclos her parents, Gilbert and Clementine Delafosse her sister, Anna Mae Bueche and her brother, Gilbert Boy Delafosse, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, La., beginning on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed during the service.
