Riley Johnson

Private Graveside Services will be held for Riley Joseph Johnson on Friday, April 24, 2020 in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs, LA and will be officiated by Reverend Michael DeBlanc.

Riley Johnson, age 83, and a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Riley was a graduate of Port Barre High School and during those days he worked at a service station.  In his youth, Riley was a Boy Scout and as an adult he became a Boy Scout leader.  During his career he worked on pipelines, tugboats, he was a carpenter for 24 years and also worked in loss control at the Krotz Springs plant.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Riley is survived by his sons, Terry Johnson (Tessie), John "Joey" Johnson (Wendy) and Jeremy Johnson; grandchildren, Amber, Kristen, Betsy, Shelby, Kayla, Halie, Kolby, Kira, Tristan, Gabbie and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Josi, Ava, Alyssa, Jaci, Lyric, Hayes, Owen, Tinsley, Hadley, Isaac, Deven, Brayli and Crislyn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Johnson; his daughter, Ronda Gayle Johnson Kaiser; his brothers, Ronald Anthony Johnson, Eddie Laurence Johnson, Carlton Andrew Johnson and his parents, Joseph Avery Johnson and Angelique Smith.

LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
