Rela Lafleur

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rela Moreau LaFleur will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas, La. Rite of Committal will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, La. The Reverend Allen Breaux will be the celebrant.

Mrs. LaFleur, age 93, a resident of Houston, formerly of Opelousas died at 7:00pm on Sunday December 30, 2012 at Houston Hospice in Houston. She was retired from retail sales and was a member of the Louisiana Physical Therapy Health Club and a volunteer with Opelousas General Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Bettie LaFleur Brasher and Shirley LaFleur, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Moise LaFleur and a daughter, Sandra LaFleur Burleigh.

The family has requested visitation be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and visitation again on Thursday from 8:00am until time of services at 2:00pm. A rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 6:30pm.
