Raymond Johnson, Sr.

Funeral services for Raymond Lee Johnson, Sr. will be held on Friday July 19, 2013 at 3:00pm at LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs. The interment will take place at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Lottie. Bro Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mr. Johnson, age 56, a resident of Krotz Springs, died Tuesday July 16, 2013 at Opelousas General Health System. He was a retired auto mechanic. He loved being around his family and also loved camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Ellis Johnson of Krotz Springs, son Raymond Lee Johnson, Jr. of Fordoche, daughter Amanda Marie Berry and husband Keith of Pineville, brothers Marshall Johnson and Chester Johnson both of Fordoche, sisters Linda Courville of Fordoche, Marie Rutledge of Pineville, Lucy Bihm of Krotz Springs and Brenda Boyd of Fordoche and 4 grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Lena Free Johnson and his brothers Vernon Johnson and Walter Johnson.

The family has requested visitation be held on Friday July 19, 2013 from 10:00am until service time at 3:00pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy A. Lanclos, Jr., Randy A. Lanclos, Sr., Edward Paul Ellis, Sr., Edward Paul Ellis Jr., Raymond Lee Johnson, Jr. and Wallace Edmond Broussard.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
