Raphael John Breaux

Raphael John Breaux, born on May 30, 1960, and a resident of Plaisance, Louisiana, passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 64. Raphael was remembered for his outspoken personality. He was known as someone who would always lend a helping hand. He took great joy in cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.

Raphael is survived by his mother, Rose Arnaud Breaux; his brother, Chad Breaux, and his wife, Annette; his sister, Melissa Arnaud, and her husband, Steven. He also leaves behind a host of cherished nephews and nieces: Shane Nations, Christopher Nations, Josh Barker, Anson Ardoin, Christy St. Romain, Jamie Saizan, Amanda Wills, Brittany Brucato, and Heidi Lafluer. Additionally, brothers-in-law, Preston Nations and Elvis Barker; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Roy Breaux; his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Emma Breaux; his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Evelynn Arnaud; sisters Darlene Nations and Jeannie Barker; and his nephews Brian Scott Arnaud and Brandon Nations.

In recognition of his life, a visitation will be held on November 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home located at 2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570. Following this, a Rosary will take place at 2:00 PM.

Raphael's life was one of kindness and laughter, leaving a mark on all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
