Randall Leger

A mass of Christian Burial will be held for Randall Randy Keith Leger, age 53, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La. Father Austin Leger will officiate the services.

Mr. Leger a resident of Sunset, La. and formerly of Lafayette, La., passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his residence.

Randy was employed by Schlumberger as a wire line operator and was last employed with Goodwill. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Ann Leger Pullette of Sunset, La. his mother, Bessie Ledoux Leger of Opelousas, La. his sons, Chad Michael Leger and Lance Doody Joseph Leger both of Sunset, La. his brothers, Dennis James Leger of Denham Springs, La. David Kent Leger and wife, Jessica, of Lafayette, La. and his sister, Karen Jean Clark and husband, J.N., of Lafayette, La.

Mr. Leger was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Nolton Leger.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
