Ralph Collette

Funeral services for Ralph Joseph Collette will be on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 11:00am at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville with the interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Joshua Atwell will conduct the services.

Mr. Collette, age 45, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009. He was a member of Boilermakers 582, and worked for various tree services. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and horses.

Mr. Collette is survived by his wife; Ronda H. Collette of Denham Springs, his mother; Margarette C. Latiolais of Denham Springs, his in laws; Mr. Mrs. Roy D Hodges of Grayson, La. a stepson; Trey R. Vicknair and his wife Jessica of Vidor TX, one brother; Joey Grant and his wife Tammy of Denham Springs, 2 sisters; Pamela Grant Landry and her husband David of Baton Rouge and Thomasina Leigh Grant Meadows and her husband Kirk of Chipola, La. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, 5 nephews; Little David, Mackie, Damon, Little Joey and Anthony, 2 nieces; Michelle and Emily. He is also survived by life-long friends; Walter and Eric Massey.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather; James Latch Latiolais, father; Frank Collette and his grandparents; Ida and Worth Grant.

Pallbearers will be Charles Hubbs, David Hymel, Eric Massey, Kirk Meadows, Mike Russell, Danny Blackwell, Stanley Brown and Richard Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey R. Vicknair and Walter Massey.

The family has requested that visiting hours will be observed on Monday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00am until time of services.
