Pauline Latiolais

Opelousas - Funeral services will be held for Pauline "Doodie" Latiolais, age 59, at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Pauline, a resident of Port Barre, LA and native of Opelousas, LA, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Opelousas General Health System.

Pauline was an avid L.S.U. sports fan. She enjoyed fishing, loved her grandchildren dearly and was known to have a heart of gold. Pauline will be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her partner, Pam LaCombe, of Port Barre, LA; her son, Andrew Paul Latiolais of Port Barre, LA; her brothers, Clayton J. Latiolais of Opelousas, LA; Roderick J. Latiolais of Lafayette, LA; her sisters, Elaine L. Guillory and husband, Allen, of Opelousas, LA; Betty L. Stelly and husband, Russell, of Church Point, LA and Joan L. Roy of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Dylan Latiolais, Avery Latiolais, Kailey Latiolais and Josh Latiolais; 9 nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli Joseph and Celeste Pitre Latiolais.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Theriot, Clayton D. Latiolais, Michael Shane Stelly, Dusty Neal Stelly, Bart Guillory and Russell Stelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Guillory and Buster "The Dog" Latiolais.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
