Paul Soileau

Funeral services for Paul Soileau will be held on Thursday December 27, 2012 at 10:00 am in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the services.

Mr. Paul, age 87, a resident of Opelousas, died Saturday December 22, 2012 at his residence. He was the owner of Raphaels Inn and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII.

Survivors include his sons, Neil Soileau and wife Sue of Baton Rouge, Dennis Soileau and wife Debbie of Opelousas, Dirk Soileau and wife Sharon of Opelousas and Andy Soileau of Opelousas, brother, Alvin Soileau of Ville Platte, four grandchildren, Eric Soileau, Joe Soileau, Daniel Soileau and Sarah Louviere and one great granddaughter, Hailey Soileau.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Amy Soileau, parents, Joseph A. Soileau and Orneline Delafosse Soileau, several brothers and sisters, grandchildren, Jason Soileau and Marcie Soileau.

The family has requested visitation be held on Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 am. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
