Paul Kimball

November 22, 1932 — April 3, 2017

Krotz Springs- Funeral services will be held for Paul Harold Kimball at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs. Visiting will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. Interment will follow at the St. Anthony Catholic Mausoleum. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the funeral service.

Mr. Kimball died on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence.

Paul was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a lay minister for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Krotz Springs. He worked as a pipefitter for Delta Plant in Baton Rouge, LA. In 1972, he decided to open the Canal Station in Krotz Springs which he owned and operated until 2011. He continued to work and stay involved in the business until his death. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the 805th Air Police Squadron. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Krotz Springs.
Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Shane Kimball and wife Maria, Toby Kimball and wife Denise; daughters, Paula David and husband Randy, and Lisa Guidroz and Leighton Stelly. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Don David II, Brandi David Meche, Jaci Collins, Jenna Fontenot, Ashley Calverette, Adam Kimball, Hayden Kimball, Bella Kimball, Abby Knott and Alex Knott; great grandchildren, Baylor Meche, Jaxon Meche, Carli David, Caynen David, Cason David, Drew Fontenot, Callie Collins, Raina Collins, Caden Cox and Bastian Thomason.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Betty Moran Kimball; his parents, Albert Kimball, Sr. and Mary Firmin Kimball; his brothers, James Winnie Kimball, Albert Kimball, Jr., Charlie Kimball and Jake Kimball; his sisters, Julia Boudreaux and Willie Bill Kimball and two grandchildren, Jason Morrow and Francheska Kimball.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Kimball, Adam Kimball, Baylor Meche, Jaxon Meche, Leighton Stelly and Randy David. Honorary pallbearers will be Don David and Caynen David.
