It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Breaux, Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor and friend, who departed from this world on December 29, 2024. Born on November 12, 1960, Paul was a shining beacon of kindness and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Krotz Springs. Reverend Henry Wallace will officiate the services. Burial will take place immediately after the service at First Baptist Cemetery of Krotz Springs.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
Paul's presence in this world was characterized by his many passions and interests. A proud fourth generation moonshiner. Fishing and hunting were among his beloved pastimes, allowing him the serenity of nature and the thrill of adventure. Paul loved animals in and out of gravy. His hardworking and entrepreneurial spirit shined brightly throughout his life; he relished any project, whether big or small, reflecting his talent for woodworking and his knack for creativity. An avid motorcyclist and truck driver, he embraced the freedom of the open road, embodying the essence of an adventurer in every ride.
He was a man of humor; he thrived on telling jokes that brought smiles and laughter to those around him. Above all, it was the time spent with his family that reigned supreme among his greatest moments. The joys of being surrounded by his loved ones, especially his treasured grandchildren, gave him a sense of fulfillment that cannot be measured.
A great husband, dad, grandfather, and friend as well as an amazing kind man. He lived his life to the fullest with his wife, Tammy “His vie femme” which was a dedicated true love story. They were High School sweethearts that regained connection and never left each other's side.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Tammy Triplette Breaux, whose companionship enriched his life. He leaves behind his sons: Paul Breaux III (Cassie) of Cecilia; and David Sciara, Jr. (Jeanette) of Frederick, Colorado; his daughters: Crystaldawn Breaux Finn (Chad) of Lake Charles; Miranda Breaux (Wyatt Bienvenu) of Cecilia; Jessica Mayer (Ryan) of Biloxi, Mississippi; and Cheyenne Triplette (Blair Quebedeaux) of Opelousas; his brothers, Lloyd Breaux (Norma) of Henderson; Fosten "Bookie" Breaux of Krotz Springs; and Bruce Breaux (Janet) of New Iberia; his sisters: Arleen Breaux Barker of Breaux Bridge; Faye Ann Breaux (Moe) of Krotz Springs; and Janice Morrison of Krotz Springs. Additionally, he will be fondly remembered by his adoring grandchildren: Christopher, James, Alyssa, Hendrix, Alorah, Ryan Jr., Valencia, Jaxson, Eleanor, and Delilah; and one great-grandchild, Art Emas; as well as countless family, friends, and loved ones.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul K. Breaux, Sr., and Doris Whittington Breaux; his brother, Anthony George Breaux; his paternal grandparents, Fosten James Breaux and Mary Sedonia Devillier Breaux; and his maternal grandparents, George Whittington and Eula Marks Whittington.
Paul Breaux, Jr. was a man of remarkable character, whose life was defined by love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit. His memory will be eternally cherished by those he leaves behind, serving as a reminder of the profound impact one soul can have upon the hearts of many.
