Pattie Conroy

Opelousas - A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Pattie Ann Sellers Conroy at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017, in the Skip Montet Chapel in Opelousas.

Mrs. Conroy, age 56, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017, peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family.

Pattie received the calling to become an ordained minister and chose to spread the word of God through prison ministry in Florida. She enjoyed shopping and collecting antique jewelry and furniture. Pattie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her dogs, Cisco, Baby and Peewee. Pattie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of seven years and the "love of her life", Michael Conroy of Opelousas; her sons, William Patrick Williams and wife, Laci, of Opelousas; AC1 AWSW Randolph Robert "Trea" Mutter III and wife, Brandi of Pensacola, FL; her step-son, Joseph Michael Conroy of Opelousas and fiancé, Sarah Desadier; her step-daughter, Abby Conroy of Opelousas; and her sisters, Nora Lynn Fruge and husband, Alan of Warren, TX; and Molly M. Young of Shepherd, TX. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Anita C. Conroy of Enterprise, AL; and seven grandchildren, Zak Williams, Sha Sha Williams, Jillian Williams, Ceare' Williams, K.K. Reed, Bubbie Reed, Marcus Reed and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pattie was preceded in death by her parents whom she loved and adored, Julius "Skip" Montet and Mary Durand Montet; her sons, James Michael Williams and Anthony Credeur; and her daughter, Joy Mistina Williams.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday, October 8, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
