Patsy Stelly

Leonville A Mass of Christian Burial for Patsy Stelly, age 64, will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville, La. followed by interment in the Church Mausoleum. Father Ken Domingue will be the celebrant.

Mrs. Stelly, who was a resident of Opelousas, died at Opelousas General Health System on Monday, May 17, 2010.

Patsy loved the outdoors, her dog, but she especially loved her 6 beautiful grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Stelly of Opelousas, La. her sons, Chris Ledoux of Central, La. Chad Ledoux and wife, Misty, of Opelousas, La. Kevin Stelly and wife, Janel, of Port Barre, La. her daughter, Tina Stevens and husband, Craig, of Port Barre, La. her brothers, Overton Thibodeaux of Walker, La. Aubrey Thibodeaux and wife, Una, of Prairie Ronde, La. Ray Thibodeaux and wife, Corita, of Walker, La. Kenneth Thibodeaux and wife, Jackie, of Prairie Ronde, La. her sisters, Roberta Johnson of Opelousas, La. Callie Richard and husband, Lee L., of Morrow, La. Una Sylvester and husband, Chester, of Whiteville, La. Sybil Landreneau and husband, Bobby, of Ville Platte, La Greta Brown and husband, Thomas, of Marksville, La. and Bonnie Deshotels and husband, Keith, of Garland, La. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Ryann, Emily, Rebekah and Reese.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Demas and Emethilde Semar Thibodeaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010.
