Krotz Springs Funeral services for Patsy Ann Blevins Schexsnayder will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2011, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, La. followed by interment in the church cemetery. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the service.

Mrs. Schexsnayder, age 64, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Friday, September 9, 2011, at Opelousas General Health System.

Patsy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Marshall Schexsnayder, II, of Krotz Springs, La. her daughters, Felicia Ortego and husband, Robert, of Krotz Springs, La. Gwen Beard and husband, Ricky, of Lawtell, La. her brothers, Danny Blevins and wife, Donna, of Jackson, La. and Roger Blevins of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kristen Ortego, Collin Ardoin, Jodi Ortego, Laney Beard and 2 greatgrandchildren, Frankie Cottano, III and Gabriel Cottano.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Schexsnayder, Sr. her parents, Leo Blevins and Evelyn Rollins her sister, Leona Disotell and her brother, Larry Blevins.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday until service time.
