Patsy Pitre

Opelousas - Funeral services for Patsy Gail Dupre Pitre will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.  Reverend Eugene Reiszner will conduct the services.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.

Mrs. Pitre, age 81, a resident of Opelousas, La., passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Opelousas General Health System.

Patsy strongly believed in her faith.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved a good game of Bouree', having family gatherings and supported the Wounded Warriors Project.  Patsy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, James Craig Pitre and wife, Donna of Grand Prairie, La., Neil Bryon Pitre of Port Barre, La.; her daughter, Melanie Bourque and husband, Randy of Opelousas, La.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Pitre; her parents, Tuerling Dupre and Georgia Ledoux Dupre; her daughter, Karen Pitre and her son, Carl Pitre.

Pallbearers will be Craig Pitre, Seth Pitre, Neil Pitre, Randy Bourque, Nicholas Pitre and Carson Leger.
