Funeral Services for Patricia Nugent will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at LaFond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA. Father Laurent De Prins will officiate the services. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery, 486 Joseph Street, Palmetto, LA 71358.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home, 2845 S Union Street, Opelousas, LA 70570.

Patricia Ann was born September 17, 1940, in Ville Platte, LA, as one of five children to Harry and Augusta Buschel Bihm.

She will be remembered for her natural creativity, her sharp wit, and her fun personality. Patricia was a master seamstress and took great pride in crafting beautiful clothes and home décor for her loved ones. She was a talented hairdresser, and passionately served her community through her home-based beauty shop in Baton Rouge for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Adam Nugent, and by her two siblings, Tracy Bihm, and Wella Bihm. Those left to cherish her memories include: her daughter, Tricia Nugent Nicks, her son-in-law, Edward Louis Nicks, III, her two grandchildren, Hailey Nicks, and Hunter Nicks, and her two sisters, Elaine Andrepont, and Brenda Morris.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt and sincere thanks to the staff of both Harbison Shores and Forest Acres Post-Acute Care for their compassionate and devoted care of Mrs. Nugent.

Patricia's kindness, generosity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing she made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know her.
